Today proceed the The lake city Udaipur on arrival visit Tripura Sundari Temple also popularly known as Matabari Temple which is one of 51 shaktipeethas. Continue your journey to visit Neermahal (also known as Lake Palace)– a former royal palace built by Maharaja of Tripura Kingdom Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya bahadur. Board a boat and enjoy beautiful ride to reach the Mahal. Return to Agartala, on arrival visit Ujayanta Palace – converted as a state museum and the former palace of the Kingdom of Tripura. Evening free to visit Agartala Bazaar for local shopping.

Early morning proceed to visit Unakoti Rock carvings – an ancient wonder, the hidden gem of Tripura. It is ‘Shaiba’ (Shiva) pilgrimage and dates back to 7th – 9th centuries if not earlier. The marvellous rock carvings, murals with their primitive beauty, waterfalls are not to be missed. Unakoti means one less than a crore and it is said that these many rock cut carvings are available here. Among the rock cut carvings, the central Shiva head and gigantic Ganesha figures deserve special mention. The central Shiva head known as ‘Unakotiswara Kal Bhairava’ is about 30 feet high including an embroidered head-dress which itself is 10 feet high. Evening return to Agartala.

On arrival at Kohima visit Cathedral Church of Kohima known for Asia's largest 16 feet high wood cross. The architecture of Church incorporates many elements of traditional Naga houses. Later visit Kohima War Cemetery, which lies on the battle ground of Garrison Hill. The cemetery contains 1,420 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War. At the highest point in the cemetery stands the Kohima cremation Memoria commemorating 917 Hindu and Sikh soldiers whose remains were cremated in accordance with their faith

Early morning start your journey to explore Majuli – the cultural capital and the cradle of Assamese civilization for the past 500 year. It is one of the world's largest inhabited river islands in Brahmaputra river. This island is famous for several satras i.e. Vaishnavite monasteries. At present there are 22 satras. Some dating back to the 16th century, founded by Sankardeva, the father of Assamese culture. Board a ferry for Majuli island to explore Sri Sri Samaguri Satra and get acquainted to its unique mask making tradition. You can try rice beer, a tribal drink of this region. Return to Jorhat. Take a stroll at Bhutiya/ Local market for some local shopping.
