Japan Alpine Route With Ashikaga Flower Park

Today enjoy city orientation tour of Tokyo. Start your tour with a Rainbow Bridge and visit to Asakusa Kanon Temple - one of Japan's most important Buddhist sites, see the elaborate gardens, architecture and shrines that surround the site. Admire the amazing city views from on top of the 2000 foot Tokyo Skytree 350m. (subject to operation). Also visit TeamLab Planets - a museum where you walk barefoot, getting to feel different textures and sensations.

Proceed to Ashikaga. Visit Ashikaga Flower park to see Wisteria/ Rose flowers. This Flower Park features lots of blue, white and pink fuji, as well as yellow colored fuji. See a 100 yrs old large fuji tree, its branches are supported to create a huge umbrella of blue fuji flowers. Visit Oshino Hakkai - located at the base of Mt Fuji between Lake KawaguchiKo and Lake Yamanakako to enjoy amazing views of Mt. Fuji. Arrive at Hakone in the evening.

Visit Owakudani boiling valley – A popular tourist site for volcanic activity OR Gotemba Peace park (if Owakudani not operational). Later take a rope way down to Togendai station to enjoy free time at the surroundings of Lake Ashi. Also enjoy Pirate cruise from Togendai Station to Hakone Machi Station. En-route visit Mount Fuji 5th Station (subject to operation) to enjoy the picturesque view of Mt. Fuji. Evening arrive at Matsumoto. Evening can enjoy shopping at Gotemba mall/ Onsem experience on own.

Today proceed to visit the beautiful Alpine Route. This route is known as the "Roof of Japan". It is a spectacular scenic route across 3,000-mts high Northern Japan Alps. The total length of the route is 90 km. The route passes through the dynamic scenery of Mt. Tateyama in the Japan Alps. This route is particularly famous for the high snow walls that line some of its roads during spring. Proceed to Murodo by a highland bus. This bus runs along the Tateyama Snow Corridor. Later enjoy a cable car ride to Kurobe Dam. This cable car runs entirely inside a tunnel. At 1500 m, the Kurobe Dam is the highest arch dam in Japan. The lake behind the dam holds 200 million cubic meters of water. Enjoy a walk to the dam. Arrive at Toyama in the evening.

Proceed to Shirkawago by coach, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Shirakawa-go known for its gassho "praying hands" style of architecture, which is registered as one of the Preservation Districts for Groups of Traditional Buildings of Japan. Enjoy an elevated view of the World Heritage - registered thatch-roofed village of Shirakawa-go. Arrive in Nagoya. Visit to Toyota Automobile Museum which showcases the worldwide history of automobiles and automobile culture.

Morning proceed to Kyoto sightseeing, visit Fushimi Inari Shrine - the deity of a good harvest and success in business, Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head of all of Japan's Inari shrines.

Morning proceed to Hiroshima by bullet train. On arrival enjoy orientation tour of Hiroshima - the city devastated by atomic bomb in World War II. Visit the Bomb dom – the symbol of Hiroshima and the only building to remain standing after the atomic explosion. See the Peace Memorial Park with its Museum, the Cenotaph with its arched tomb which is a tribute to those who died because of the bomb. Next enjoy a ferry ride to Miyajima Island to view the beautiful Itsukushima Shrine and the floating Torii – one of Japan's most scenic spots. In the evening return to Kyoto.
